Launch of Reivers Ale and Reivers Pie ...

To celebrate the launch of the specially brewed Reivers Ale and brand new Reivers Pie an invited audience attended the Border Club in Hawick (March 10th 08) to sample the Ale and Pies.

Local performers John Tait and David Nuttal entertained the assembled guests whilst sampling the Hawick Reivers Ale (which was brewed by the Hampshire Brewery) and taste the delights of the Reivers Pie produced this year for the festival by local butchers - Pringles of Hawick.

The highlight of the evenings entertainment came from local songwriter and Scocha member - Alan Brydon who performed a specially penned song entitled Poachers Pie and Reivers Ale.

The Reivers Ale is on sale from various local outlets during and after the festival. And the Reivers Pie is available from local Buthchers - Pringles.
